需要5000美金最少balance？
To apply for the Fidelity Check Card, you are required to have a minimum balance of $5,000 in this account. The minimum balance requirement does not apply to Fidelity® Cash Management Account.

不是。它是一个brokerage account，不受fdic保护。但是它默认可以把账户内的现金余额转去其他银行，这部分钱受fdic保护。
你也可以买sprxx等money market fund。money market fund也计入现金余额。受spic保护（不保本）。
